Finding Out What's Happening
Since prayer is the backbone of missions, we do our best to get information into the hands of those who will pray. One way to start finding out about what WEC is doing in the world is to start receiving some of our regular prayer updates.
Our Weekly Prayer News e-mail has timely information and prayer needs for various WEC ministries around the world. We also send out, by e-mail or post, a monthly prayer guide, Prayer Front. It has information and prayer requests for each day of the month, focusing mainly on the activities of Canadian WEC missionaries abroad. These are both generated by our headquarters staff.
We also recommend our quarterly magazine, WEC.Go, distributed across North America, and mailed to your door upon request. Challenging and informative, WEC.Go has stories and features focusing on our overseas work.
As you get better informed, you may find that there is a certain ministry or missionary that captures your interest. If so, there might be a chance to get better connected, since many missionaries and ministries send out frequent updates to those praying for them. If you have a special interest, just let us know.
If you live within reach of our headquarters in Hamilton, Ontario, or of our Gateway Training Centre in Langley, BC, you have an opportunity to find out much more about what's happening in WEC by attending various events, or by arranging a visit. Moreover, we have prayer groups scattered across the country, and we send representatives to many missions events each year. Check out our Events page to see if there is something happening near you.
